Bundle Overview
Wound Care Bundle brings together three topical formats and one oral zinc supplement in a configurable four-product set. The bundle contains Zinc Sulfur Boo Boo Paste, Calendula Botanical Salve, Nutrient-Enriched Cosmetic Solution, and Doctor’s Choice Zinc Picolinate.
Included Products
Zinc Sulfur Boo Boo Paste is a rich, oil-based cosmetic paste intended for routine external application to clean, intact skin. Calendula Botanical Salve is an oil-based botanical balm intended for external application to clean, dry, intact skin. Nutrient-Enriched Cosmetic Solution is a clear-to-light-yellow, lightly rose-scented liquid containing sulfinylbismethane, aloe vera and selected nutrients and is intended for external use on clean, dry, unbroken skin. Doctor’s Choice Zinc Picolinate is an oral natural health product carrying NPN 80016680. Health Canada’s current license lists zinc as the medicinal ingredient at 10 mg per capsule and identifies its licensed purposes as supporting connective-tissue formation, macronutrient metabolism, healthy skin, immune function and general health.
Important Component Differences
These products do not share one universal application method. Follow the current instructions for each component. Zinc Sulfur Boo Boo Paste and Nutrient-Enriched Cosmetic Solution should not be applied to broken or irritated skin. Calendula Botanical Salve should not be applied to deep, puncture or infected wounds, animal bites, or serious burns. Doctor’s Choice Zinc Picolinate is an oral capsule and should be taken only according to its current label directions.
Storage
Store each component according to its individual label and product instructions. Keep topical containers properly closed and protected from the storage conditions identified on their respective product pages.
Zinc Sulfur Boo Boo Paste: Apply a thin, even layer to the intended area on clean, intact skin. Avoid contact with fabrics until absorbed to minimize transfer. Use as needed. Patch test prior to first use.
Calendula Botanical Salve: On clean, dry, intact skin, warm a small amount between fingertips and smooth a thin, even layer over the targeted area. Reapply as needed. Perform a patch test prior to first use.
Nutrient-Enriched Cosmetic Solution: Patch test before first use. Shake well before use. Apply a small amount to clean, dry, unbroken skin and spread a thin, even layer. Allow to absorb fully before layering other products. If preferred, dilute with a little distilled water or aloe vera prior to application.
Doctor’s Choice Zinc Picolinate: Adults: take one capsule daily with food, a few hours before or after other medication. Consult a health-care practitioner for use beyond three months.
DMSO Safety Information
Unless otherwise specifically recommended by your physician or qualified healthcare provider, please follow these general cautions and guidelines:
• For external use only. Do not ingest, inject, or use in the eyes, mouth, nose, genitals, or on other mucous membranes.
• Apply only to clean, dry skin. Always test on a small area first to check for sensitivity before wider use.
• Do not apply over other topical medications, cosmetics, perfumes, or unknown substances. DMSO can enhance absorption of whatever it contacts on the skin.
• Avoid applying to open, infected, or actively bleeding skin unless your healthcare provider has specifically advised it.
• Do not use on poison ivy or poison oak, as it may spread irritating substances more deeply into the skin.
• Avoid exposure to toxic chemicals before and for at least 3 hours after application. If you come into contact with any toxic substance, wash the area immediately with soap and water.
• Keep out of reach of children and pets.
• Not recommended for use during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or on children, unless directed and supervised by a qualified healthcare provider.
• Temporary effects such as skin warmth, redness, dryness, itching, or a garlic-like body or breath odor may occur. If irritation is severe or persists, stop use and consult a healthcare provider.
• Stop use immediately and seek medical attention if you experience signs of allergic reaction such as difficulty breathing, swelling of the face or throat, or widespread rash/hives.
• Store in a cool, dry place away from light, with the cap tightly closed. DMSO attracts water; keep the container sealed to maintain purity and effectiveness.
• Some practitioners recommend a multivitamin/mineral supplement (e.g., vitamins A, C, E, B1, B6, zinc, selenium) to support the body’s natural antioxidant defenses. Ask your healthcare provider what is appropriate for you.
